Edit 2; a lot of people have been mentioning hard resetting hasn't been working. I've also been experiencing this. Another method I've found to have worked is switching profiles while on the main screen and then clicking on mods or creation club. This forces a crash and resets the game. Seems to work after one or two attempts for me.
Edit 3; Let's all go to Bethesdas E3 panel and hold up signs saying 'Operation could not be completed'. Edit 4; The profile changing method has been patched and doesn't work anymore.
