You're right Taloth , Syno doesn't support deleting the files because of the way it handles finished downloads and seeding. DS handles seeding. Skip to content. Star 6. New issue. Jump to bottom. Copy link. Hello, First of all thanks for adding support for DS in Sonarr! Here's the description of the feature from the wiki : If the "Completed Download Handling - Remove" option is enabled in Sonarr's settings, Sonarr will delete the original file and torrent from your client, but only if the client reports that seeding is complete and torrent is stopped.
So if I understand correctly, once seeding is done, Sonarr is supposed to remove the torrent from Synology client which it does and delete the original files from the download directory which it doesn't Is it working as inteded or do you think it should delete files?
OK ms Do you have any logs? Delete data manually after finished seeding So as you can see, the first x file download is a proper upgrade. Then it downloads a 5. But why does it download twice?
The x is being seen as a sample. The dd5. If SAB is configured incorrectly that can lead to issues: Sonarr downloading duplicate episodes that aren't upgrades, sometimes exact duplicate NZB.
Correct, Sonarr does not remove completed downloads that it does not import, an import failure is not a download failure. In my experience it searches regardless if I blacklist or not.
If I remove it from SAB, not even touching Sonarr, it drops it from the Sonarr queue and starts another search downloading it again. A completed download is a completed download. There should be an option to determine which behavior it does. Is the logic for it to be allowed to be removed, so it's going to depend what Sonarr is getting back for the status, seed limit and seed ratio limit.
Trace logs will show all that. Hmm the documentation of the Seed Ratio field seems to suggest that if Transmission does not have any "Stop seeding I was kind of expecting that if nothing is set Sonar would just remove as soon as its finished. Sonarr has always required the torrent to be stopped to remove it. That was done whether stopped manually or via Transmission's seeding limits.
In addition to stopping the torrent, Sonarr now requires the ratio to be met before removing it, either via Transmissions built in ratio limit, or Sonarr specifying the seeding limits and transmission stopping it when that limit is reached I'm not sure how it behaves if Transmission doesn't have seeding limits set globally, but Sonarr sets it for the torrent it added. But on occassion, I download a whole season of a series, manually.
What I usually do is add a torrent of the whole series, all seasons, and Skip all but one season, a season at a time. I thought I would do that by using a Drone Factory folder. Why is that? Series Title works, but Series Title Complete would fail. You could try manual import, its there for this specific scenario, drone factory is the old import mechanism and is likely going to be removed in v3.
You may need to rename the folder for manual import to automatically determine the series though.
